Graffiti in women's restrooms is generally restricted to abridged announcements of another's promiscuity that lack even a description of the incident(s) warranting this allegation. More prolix entries often include a phone number at which the accused can be contacted "for a good time."

I was surprised, then, when I saw that a patriotic vandalette had cheerfully defaced the wall of a bathroom stall to spread the message of democracy, which is, if anything, redundant and ultimately meaningless -- much like the many assertions of caring purportedly from a dubious entity.

At least patrons who might have otherwise wondered if "U.S.A." stands for "United States of Arabia" will now leave confident that God does, indeed, love their country.

Phew.

Addendum: If God is truly omniscient, I can't blame the "O" for smiling; it knows something that you don't.
