An unending string of prepositional phrases does not formal writing make! To whom it may concern: I am submitting my resume and cover letter for consideration for the advertised opening for a position as a data entry assistant. I have only two of my 21st set of chromosomes instead of three, which would cause me to have Down's Syndrome, so I am confident that my qualifications meet your hiring needs. I am interested in gaining professional experience and can be reached to schedule an interview at your earliest convenience. I have attached my resume and cover letter for your review and consideration. Sincerely, Every person who has sent his or her resume to the law firm at which I am currently employed in a career-oriented field Agatha said so on June 5, 2006 03:14 PM | Permalink TrackBack: http://www.cyberagatha.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-tb.cgi/46 Thoughts?
Oh darlin, this makes me love you even more than I did before. But I thought you had Down's Syndrome? Why are you always making those faces in pictures? Also, isn't Down's Syndrome caused by extra genetic material on Chromosome 21, rather than missing genetic material on said chromosome? Posted by: dan | June 6, 2006 09:22 AMRight, people with Down's Syndrome have three of the 21st set of chromosomes, instead of two. I know the sentence structure makes that vague, but hey, that's what every damn cover letter I've read is like. Posted by: Agatha | June 6, 2006 09:51 AMFortunately it amuses as before................I'm trying to keep away from reading posts like this. It is totally meaningless. Ain't it shame to post rubbish like this? Posted by: planner | April 6, 2008 01:54 PMOf course, it's always true...!!! there are no need in comments. Posted by: cyber | April 9, 2008 06:54 AM |
